yes the motor will run.. but u will not get the rated
torque of the motor since voltage is directly proprtional
to torque.

yes motor will run, but motor will not get rated torque and
speeds. because torque is directly proportional to current,

Answer / jignesh kadia
yes, motor will run with lesser torque & speed..but after
some time it's get overheated because of they run under
exited condition.the emf not much produce to rotor cause
rotate at rated speed so that humming produce in it. the
losses are produce in motor and it's get overheated.. and
motor will burn out..

Answer / suhas
yes, it will run.... since voltage is lower, to maintain
the output power to its rated capacity it draws more
current...due to which the windings get heated and burnout
will take place....

YES MOTOR WILL RUN WITH LESSER SPEED THEN OTS RATED SPEED.
Is This Answer Correct ? | 0 Yes | 2 No |
Motor will run with lesser speed and torque. But if the
load is same as in the case of 230VAC, current will be more
and motor may burn.
