servo motor is a AC motor which is having high speed and
high torque.even it is having torque higher then then that
of stepper motor.in stepper motor pulse signals are used to
control the motion while in servo motor modulated signals
are used.

Hi there, I am ashwin.. As of i know,
AC Servomotor is a two phase induction motor which has two
windings. The control winding and the reference winding. As
we vary the control Voltage, The flux linking the reference
winding ahd the control winding increases thus the back emf
increases.
We know that back emf ios directly proportional to the
speed, even the speed increases. As we can vary the postion
and obtain a suitable torque!

A servomotor (servo) is an electromechanical device in which
an electrical input determines the position of the armature
of a motor. Servos are used extensively in robotics and
radio-controlled cars, airplanes, and boats.
