Loose connection is the most Dangerous thing in the
electrical enginnering and one should always avoid it.
Due to loose connection the contact resistance will
increase and when the current flows through it, it will
start heating at the connection point and if the current
continues the contact point may melt and disconnect the
supply.
Because of sparking due to loose connection the instrument
connected with this line may be damaged.

less current and spark. on heavy load it may burnt.

Loose connection ==> High resistance point in circuit ==>
Hight I2R drop at that point ==> temperature rise ==>
further increase in resistance and so on. finally
flash/burn and disconnection of circuit.

Due to the loose connection, there is an air gap between the electrical contacts which results in high contact resistance. If current continues to flow,I2R loses(heat)will increase and later lead to melting of contacts and thus causing an open circuit.
Most electrical fires are mainly caused by a lot of heat that is generated as a result of loose connections.

increase resistance and increase in line current and makes
the contact point to burn and melted the insulation and can
cause fire due to overheating

Loose connection will cause low current and sparking and
sometimes it may cuase damage to the system.

Answer / mizanur rahman
High voltage drop in the loosely connected point due to
increased resistance, more current flow through the point &
the point is overheated, as a result, it melts the conductor
