Series losses (i.e. copper/resistive and leakage flux losses) in the primary and secondary windings of a transformer whereas the parallel losses (excitation branch losses) can be ignored as very little current travels through it thus heating in less amount as compared to series losses.

t/f oil - use colling purpose dis less heat cmpr with wdngs
