I agree with Mr. Satyendra Bhai Patel suggestions.
More over please check followings:
1. May be some electric motor starts and its cable routing
is near to your extension cable.
2. Also get check thermocouple,some time,its hot juction
got open and close with the passage of time. Replace
thermocouple.
3. Check loose connections.
4. Check thermocouple any wire being grounded at some time.
5. Any how, do not megger thermocouple extension wire.
Check it with normal multimeter.

check cable is screened or not ? i think this type of
problem occures when a little bit induction in wire .so
just screen your cable in indicator s terminal.problem will
be solved .

I agree with all above answers but I think the most chances
are may be TC hot junction is some time going to open and
close..........need to replace TC

please check instrument cables are earthen or not with
screened cables.this things only happens when wires are cut
at gland side or terminations are loosed

BUT ,,, DURING CALIBRATION I SELECT RANGE BY HART LRV IS 900 MMH20 & URV IS 1300 MMH20 ,, BUT ,TANK LEVEL SOMETIMES 100 % AT 1100 MMH20 , SOMETIMES 1300 MMH20 ..IN THIS CONDITION .. WHOLE LOOP FAILED ,, MAIN THING IS THAT ,, HOW TO CUSTOME RANGE SELECT ?? AND IF I USED RANGE OVER THE ORIGINAL CALIBRATE RANGE ,,,THEN WHAT ERROR WILL BE COME ??? HOW TO ZERO CALIBRATION OF DPT... When a timer is placed in RS Logix 5000 with preset value less than its scan time it is malfunctioning. i.e., if the preset is set to 30ms still the timer TT bit is counting till 150ms(its scan time). Any solution for the problem?
