Based on experience the Consuption for a Building of 10-15
Storey :
Beams 125-140 Kg per cu.m of Concrete
Slabs 80-100 Kg per cu.m of Concrete
Columns 350-400 kg per cu.m of concrete
Footings100-125 Kg per cu.m
In general for a Eartquake Resistant Str in Zone 3/4 the
steel consumption can vary between 6.5 to 7.5 Kg per
sq.feet of Constructed area
