What is the full form of SON-T lamp?

What is the full form of SON-T lamp?..

Answer / kesavan.b trichy,

In Sodium Vapour Lamp Cover we see this SON-T Lamp....
Somewhat more radiation in the blue part of the spectrum.
At low light levels it is important to have enough blue
light, in order to obtain a nice full crop growth without
elongation of the plants. However, the Agro lamp gives
less “growth light” than the Green Power lamp. At higher
light levels there will already be enough blue radiation,
so the raised level of growth light from the Green Power
lamp will give a better production. So, the Agro lamp is
best used at low light levels (2000-3000 lux) and a compact
crop growth, whereas at higher light levels (>3000 lux) the
Green Power lamp will give the best results for the
majority of crops.
