Rectifier means to change AC voltage into a fixed DC
voltage (240vac into 48vdc). Converter means to change the
AC voltage level into another level of the same AC voltage
(120vac to 240, or 240vac to 120vac)

RECTIFIER IS A SYSTEM WHICH CONVERT AC VOLT INTO DC ,THAT
MEANS O/P DC VOLT.
CONVERTOR IS A SYSTEM WHIH CONTAIN RECTIFIER $ INVERTOR
BOTH OF UNIT, THAT MEANS O/P IS AC VOLT.
