What should be the voltage between Neutral and Ground in

it should be zero volts.but practicaly when we check
voltage b/w nutral and ground it is found near about 1 to 2
volts

It should be zero. In power plant and substaton thay
maintain less then 1 ohm of earth resistence. So, to reduce
the voltae drop the neutral and body earth shold be perfect.
