Answer / kunal s. thaker
Xc=1/2pieFc
but for d.c. Fc=0
so Xc= infinitive
so capacitor offers infinite resistance and block the D.C.

Answer / barsha mohanty
we know thant ,
xc=1/2*3.141*f*c
in dc f(frequency)=0,
so,xc=infinitive,hence it become a open circuit.that's why
capacitor blocks dc.

In DC capacitor acts as a Open ckt where as in AC it's
close ckt
due to it's inherent property ( as explined by above

Answer / vinit92
in a.c it has a xc=a/2pifc .in fc has a some finite value
but in d.c. fc is a 0 sp xc will be onfinite so it will be
block dc and pass to ac
and another reason we can say that the in dc has a consatant
current so capacitor will not to be charged but in ac has
alternative current so it will be charged to capacitor
so capacitor will block to dc and pass to ac ,,,,,,,
