How would you supply power to a village which is very far from a sub-station and has only a 11k?..

Answer / om

it depends on how far the village is situated.considering the line losses 11 kv distribution may not be economical so we have to step up it to 33 kv and then transmit and then step down to 33 kv to 11 kv to 430 V.

How would you supply power to a village which is very far from a sub-station and has only a 11k?..

Answer / ramkumar

drop will be occur. so increase in voltage, minimise the
losses and voltage drop.so increase the voltage 11kv to
higher rating.

Answer / surender kumar singh

As usual Voltage stepping up action is needful.
Level of transformation will be based upon distance between sending end & receiving end.
Slabs of voltage stepping up & down applicable for suitable voltage correction & compensation of line losses to cater power at village.
