its an electrical device used for supplying controlled
power supply to electrical equipment along with some other
auxilary contact i.e. NO/NC.or simply u can say its a
distant switching device.it has one magnetic coil, when ever
we give control supply to its coil its get energised &
pulls up main contact for supply leads to make electrical
ckt.again we remove control supply to its coil its de-
energise to release contact.

Why are some relay circuts designed to have the ct current flow through the neutral instead of the phase wire, such as in some diff relays?
In secondary transmission i.e., in distribution side, supply for homes are connected through different phases in order to balance the 3 phase load. But in practical we saw nearby house doesn't have power due to single phasing. But other two phases give supply. How it's possible? it doesn't make "single phasing"?
