more or less,if less what about the Ohm's law

Answer / atul
actully in a transmission line since wattage or you can say
power is current x voltage.it has to be constant so if
voltage goes high current has to get low to keep power
constant.

V=IxR
this is ohm's law.According to this the current in a line
is directly propotional to the voltage across the line.But
these two are equal only when satisfying a costraint (i.e)
according to the resistance.The value of any two parameters
are maintained a constant and the third is varied.
In a transmission line the impedance is very high,and so to
maintain the voltage at a constant value the current has to
be less.In this case the line impedance is constant,and
voltage has to be maintained constant.So current is varied.
