1. Open your cognos connection page.
2. Go to "my folders" or wherever you want to have the new tab.
3. You will get an icon on the right hand side " create new
page". Click it.
4. Configure your page and location as well as appearance.
5. Next it will ask you to add the page in portal tab,
select it.
