Answer / jamal2009
by interconnecting the earth pit the earth resistance can
be drastically reduced as well as the reliablity of
earthing will also increase ie in case of isolation of
conductors from one earthing electrode the fault current
will pass through the other electrode

to reduced resistance of the path of Current flow so that
the electrical equipment and all accessory can be save
breaking the circuit.

Answer / chauhanalpesh
dear friends as we know for easy current flow to earth
earth-resistance should be low now practically we are not
getting very low resistance but we know that in parallel
connections resultant value of resistance will b decreased
so that y earth pits are intereconnected to reduce final
earth resistance

by interconnecting if 1 fails other will take over&easy
path will take over

Simple, recall the mesh or loop analysis method. If resistance
is connected in series (--) it'll be increased (i.e., R=R1+R2 2+1=3).
If connected in parallel (||) it'll be reduced
(i.e., R=((R1*R2)/(R1+R2)) (2*1)/(2+1)=0.67).

rusitance Wiil be very low for thst it become pure
cunductor for that the current will flow direct to the
earth becouse the has a positive ions

What is the difference between emf, voltage drop and potential difference?
Dear all, is ther any body who can tell me about the setting of ACB(air circuit breaker ). what kind of it,s setting is and how to do it,s setting. also please tell me the setting of VCB(vaccume circuit breaker) . please tell me their setting,s. i will b very thank ful to all of u. Thank,s and Regard,s. Muhammed Ikram.
Why underground cables are used to connect transformers? In addition how are they again connected to lines after step up or step down?
Why insulation layer of a High Voltage cable is more than a current carrying cable?
If two hack saw blades, seperated by 1mm thick paper, are connected across 230volts, and immersed in water, then they start getting heat. This is fact,i dont know how they get heated.Blades are not directly connected together. Please if anybody knows the fact ,revert back to me
Can you use step up generator transformer of voltage ratio 16.5kv/420kv in place of step up generator transformer 15.75kv / 420 kv
in underground cables, we have a grading method called 'capacitance grading' why is it called 'capacotance grading' although we do not use any capacitor in it?

Can I use star delta connected induction motor for dual supply voltage?
Practical condition in 400KV Sub station:- Breaker(open) , isolator(open), Earthing (close) at both end e.g A & B. Now Open A Stn Earthing than Open B stn Earthing (Which have a 50MVA reactor) , AND suddenly show R,Y,B phase 704KV,573KV,118KV respectively. Que is without closing of breaker how it is possible.????
