IT WORKS ON THE PRINCIPLE THAT AIR IS DRAWN OVER THE COPPER PLATE HEATED BY HYDROCARBON FUEL, IF THE HALOGENATED REFRIGERANT IS PRESENT THE FLAME CHANGES FROM A BLUE TO BLUISH GREEN COLOR.
