Can anyone explain Things gone right(TGR) and Things gone
wrong(TGW) in the APQP process? preferable With example.
Answer / Choudhary Jitendera Singh
Things Gone Right (TGR) and Things Gone Wrong (TGW) are two crucial elements of the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process. TGR refers to the identification of actions, tasks, or events that were performed correctly during product development and should be repeated in future projects. TGW, on the other hand, identifies issues, mistakes, or errors that occurred during the development process, so they can be avoided in subsequent projects. An example could be a new automobile model's design process. If the team successfully implemented effective communication channels among departments during the project, it would be considered a TGR. Conversely, if the team encountered issues with quality control due to inadequate testing procedures, that would be classified as a TGW.
