First the question itself is wrong. It should be how steel
can be welded and many number of processes are there. Arc
Welding, TIG Welding, MIG Welding,Spot welding, explosive
welding and so other processes. when it is about Plastic
awe should know what type is it? thermo plastic or thermo
setting plastic. Thenonly we can choose the process

metal will be kept in the die while closing and the plastic
material will be injected which flows over a certain portion
of metal piece kept in the die. for strong joint b/t metal
and plastic, holes or embossed on the portion that will go
into the plastic.

i think process would be some thing like this..
insert the steel in the mold that contains liquid plastic which is left to cool the time when the mold becomes very viscous at that time we insert iron in what ever form it is into that mold so when the mold cools the iron and plastic would b joined 2gether..
