Answer / bhaskar halder
D means delta
Y means star
N means neutral
DYN 11 means phase difference between 30 degree HV & LV
side (& vice versa ).DYN 11 TRANSFORMER loss is very low
because phase difference is minimum but it is not use for
higher rating because phase angle is very minimum so HV &LV
side are shrot to each other.so very higher rating use DYN
5 & DYN 6

Dyn11 transformer means
Transformer has a delta connected primary winding (D) a star connected secondary (y) with the star point brought out (n) and a phase shift of 30 deg leading (11). ... The 11 indicates the LV winding leads the HV by 30 degrees.

Answer / finn rovsing
Dyn11 means that the High Voltage phase A is leading the
Low Voltage phase a by 330 deg. High Voltage phase B is
leading low Voltage Phase b by 330 deg. And similar for
Phases C /c. If you don't care about the correct name/mark
of the LV phase, you can also say that the LV phase is
leading with 30 deg. But in the latter case, the vector
group term 11 loses its original meaning.

Answer / umar
Dyn11 means the Low Voltage winding is Delta connected and
High Voltage winding is Y connected with neutal is being
brought out. 11 shows that the LV winding is leading HV
winding by the angle of 30 degree.
