1.BO 6.5 has security domains and XI has no security
domains.
2.In BO 6.5 all objects are stored in repository whereas in
XI objects are stored in Input FRS and instances in Output
FRS.
3.BO uses 57 tablles for BO reports and 8 tables for
auditor whereas XI uses 8 tables for CMS and 6tables for
Auditor.
4. BO is 3-tier architecture and XI is 5 tier.
5.Bo is user centric i.e rights are assigned to users
whereas XI is object centric i.e rights are assigned ot
object level not user level.

Business objects 6.5 is 3 tier architecture, xi is 5-tier
architecture,

In xi no repository, only cmc is there,

b.c.a in central management console in xi, in 6.5 in b.c.a
is in designer level,

No domains in xi, Domains is in 6.5,

Security in 6.5 in repository level, in xi it is in
universe level.

BOXIR2 is BO 11.5,
BO6.5+Crystal Reports=BOXIR2.

in bo 6.5: 1.we call web & desktop intelligence as whole as
business objects
2. in this we use ASCII code
3. in this we use Clausic Universe only.

in BO XI R2: 1. in this we call web intelligence as web
intelligence & desk intelligence as desk intelligence
seperately.
2.in this we use UNIQUE code
3.in this we use Clausic Universe & OLAP Universe
