Software programmer can be any person who knows the
flows,algorithim,stacks and queues and code related to any
programming language in which he/she is fluent.He/She may
not be a part of software development team or can share her
set of skills through teaching only!


Software Developer is a part of a solution team that
develops a software product.He/she is well versed with
technical(programming) and non technical(implementation)
details for design and development that lead to ultimately
making of the software product according to customised
prefrences of the client who ultimately pays and uses the
software product.

Just wondering whats the difference between a Programmer and
a Developer?

The difference is how you label them. In theory a programmer
doesn't do any of the designing for a project; he's strictly
a code monkey. A developer is active in all stages of the
development of software. In reality they're both the same
thing unless you work at a huge conglomerate that breaks
teams down into the tiniest units.

A Programmer is usually an expert in creating syntactically correct statements in a programming language. He / she needs a design / pseudocode to start work. In other words, a Programmer converts a requirement into a function / procedure. Let us assume that a Church is being constructed. A Programmer equivalent person is a carpenter who fixes the windows. PROGRAMMER : Programmer is any person who is proficient in any programming language say (Java,Python,C++,C#,PHP,Ruby etc). and whose primary task is to write code. These guys do not deal with the Documentation,Design,Analysis and Databases Creation.They just write Modules or Lines of codes solving particular problem.

DEVELOPER : The Developer is any person who have almost all the skills of the PROGRAMMER and can write codes but he also deals with the DESIGN (Flow charts,Data Flow Diagrams,ER Diagrams Construction), Documentation (Making Manuals), Developing Test Cases, Reporting Bugs Report etc. Developer can who almost all the activities of the Software Development Except Analysis.

hi guys i am very new to this field and very interstingly
to the diff betwn progmr and developer i typed in google
serach from which i observed the below key diff between
progmer and developer.

Progmer is the one who preparing the fabrics and the
developer is doing design, shape , colour, cutting editing
work according to the customer perference. but the
developer must know which fabric type then only he han do
shaping , cutting and coulouring work. I hope i deliver the
