PROGRAMMER : Programmer is any person who is proficient in any programming language say (Java,Python,C++,C#,PHP,Ruby etc). and whose primary task is to write code. These guys do not deal with the Documentation,Design,Analysis and Databases Creation.They just write Modules or Lines of codes solving particular problem.
DEVELOPER : The Developer is any person who have almost all the skills of the PROGRAMMER and can write codes but he also deals with the DESIGN (Flow charts,Data Flow Diagrams,ER Diagrams Construction), Documentation (Making Manuals), Developing Test Cases, Reporting Bugs Report etc. Developer can who almost all the activities of the Software Development Except Analysis.
DEVELOPERS ARE GIVEN MORE WAGES than PROGRAMMERS...
