Reaction turbines are used in
places where the pressure
head is not very large,in
such cases a compromise is
made by converting some of
the pressure energy into
kinetic and a large flow rate
of fluid,instead in the case of
impulse turbine a large
fraction of total energy is
kinetic and flow rate is low.
If in reaction turbine total
pressure energy is
converted into kinetic,the
back pressure at exit would
become less than atmospheric.

How can we calculate the capacity of each impeller in a multi stage pump(Condensate extraction pump having 5 stage used in thermal power station)How it varies in pumping capacity on removing different stages?

hello i have a problem !!!! i am studying gait analysis"human walking; and i had only single camera"sony 25 frames/s" and 2 separated force plates, and there is no synchronization between the camera and the force plates!. i wrote a matlab program to calculate joints moment(sagital) using inverse dynamics methode. and there is a problem with the output data!! can you help me.
