What are the different types of pile founations used?..

based on its use - end bearing pile, friction pile,
compaction pile, tension pile, anchor pile, sheet pile,
batter pile.
based on material - concrete pile, timber pile, steel pile,
composite pile.
and other type - Raymond standard pile, Raymond step-taper
pile, MacArthur pile, Western button bottom pile.

Basicaly piles are classified by its material used. piles
are used Where the depth of the foundation is more and the
earth is claye, stilt, etc., Bentonite chemical is used
for while piling. This chemical will gives the layer for
protection of sliding earth.
