Hi All

I am installing QTP 8.0/8.2 in my office desktop (WIN XP)
but it is not working. Inspite Installion is succesfully
done but when i open qtp from programs it opens only first
screen of add-in and after that it disappears.

But in my other computer at home (winxp) it is working fine.

Can you please give the reason, why it is not working in
office desktop.

Hi Deepak,

Check out IE version you are using. QTP 8.0 doesn't support
IE 7. You need to have IE 6 to work with QTP 8.0.

Hi All

There must be another solution for the qtp 8.2 to run on IE
7 despite uninstalling the IE7. If someone have the
solution then please revert back. I hope there must be a
solution.

Hi Deepak Sigh
Check whether the same version of QTP is
installed in your machine.Go to run and type REGEDIT and
check the dll files of QTP is loaded or not.

hi depak,
u must install windows 2000 server or 2003 server in u r
system successfully,then u install qtp 8.0 or 8.2 it works
fine on windows2000/2003 server.there is a problem in
windows xp operating system.
