Which type of pumop you are asking. There are many types of
pumps using for DG.

PT Pump----- For fuel supply
Coolant Pump- for circulation of water in DG water jacket
priming Pump-- For Circulation of Lube oil

oil.Normally it will used above 500KVA.

D.g pump means it is not a pump it is FIP- FUEL INJECTING PUMP.
The main use of the FIP is supplying the fuel to the
cylinders to maintain crank shaft speed as a Synchronous
speed(1500rpm)
