We can convert IMR to IWR thtough PPES tool (PowerPlay
Enterprise Server) by publishing the Impromptu report to
Upfront for the end users.
1. Login to PPES
2. Select the report and publish it to upfront.
3. Can Verify the report by logging into upfront.

first create the IMR reports,then Publish that report by
using Cognos Server Administration on Upfront i.e. IWR.this
is the way u can convert ur IMR to IWR.

What are the procedures (or) methods using in Migration process in cognos? I.e. the created report is in development server that moves into production server (client server). My problem is as follows I made two pages of the portal; in the first page i have two reports and from one of these i would like to communicate in some way (i.e drill- through?) with the second page that contains four reports (prompt value [product] and three chart [sales revenue, sales quantity and budget]). Particularly I would like to communicate with the report that contains the prompt, passing the Product. How can i drill from the first page of the portal to the second page ? More generally, is it possible to move from one page, containing 2 report, to another page with 4 report, through a drill-through or any other mechanism? Thank in advance.

I need your kind support. I have more than 6yrs of exp in s/w industry. I have worked on some DW technologies which are out dated. For almost 1 year I was on bench.During this bench period I learnt cognos on my own using online docs. Hence I am alligned to a project few months ago to work on cognos. Unfortunately after joining this project I did not get opportunity to work on cognos. I am working on different things apart from cognos. I should get job in another company. Otherwise I am gone. I am confident enough to get job on Cognos in another company. Please let me know is it possible to work on Cognos at lead position (as my current position is at lead level) without having real time experience. Your response is highly appreciated and I will be grateful to you. Thanks in advance Ganesh
