Electronics and Communication deals in different field like
Hardware (Design and Manufacturing), Software/IT (Embedded
system, MATLAB), Communication (Telecommunication) and
networking so candidate of ECE and choose any field among
these field as per interest and software is also a part of
ECE curriculum so its fair from ECE side to look for IT job.

The communications field is rapidly leaning towards
networking for local communication between equipment.
Motorola, Kenwood, and other major brands are migrating
their engineering toward utilizing this faster proven
ability.
Repeater sets now communicate on a LAN basis, and have the
ability to perform phone calls over VOIP, instead of
integrating a modem and connecting to a phone line.
Remote sites can utilize this on 2-way radios, and send the
information to other sites via point-to-points. (microwave)
New advances in technology will require comunication
engineers and technicians to know networking protocols and
link different sites together to enhance coverage.
