Explain the difference between fixed-bias circuit & self-bias circuit?
Answer / Rajan Kumar Jaiswal
In a Fixed-Bias Circuit, the base-emitter junction of a transistor is kept at a constant voltage. This ensures that the transistor always operates in its active region, but it may not be efficient for changes in load or temperature. In contrast, Self-Bias Circuit adjusts the base-emitter voltage dynamically based on the load and operating conditions to keep the transistor at its optimal active region, improving efficiency and stability.
