Fixed-Bias Circuits (FBC) and Self-Bias Circuits (SBC) are used for Bipolar Junction Transistor amplifiers. The main differences are:
1. Voltage Regulation: In FBC, the base-emitter voltage is maintained constant regardless of the current flowing through the transistor, while in SBC, the base-emitter voltage adjusts dynamically to maintain a certain collector current.
2. Stability: Fixed bias circuits are less stable because changes in temperature or supply voltage can affect the base-emitter junction's voltage drop, leading to instability in the circuit. On the other hand, SBC is more stable due to its ability to adjust the base-emitter voltage dynamically.
