How to calibrate differential pressure switch
Answer / Ankit Multani
Calibration of a Differential Pressure Switch involves the following steps:
1. Turn off the system or device that uses the pressure switch.
2. Disconnect the pressure switch from the piping system.
3. Set the pressure switch to its calibration mode, if available.
4. Apply the known differential pressure to the pressure switch using a pressure source, such as a test gauge or another pressure switch.
5. Adjust the set point on the pressure switch until it operates correctly, either opening or closing at the desired pressure.
6. Reconnect the pressure switch to the piping system and turn on the system.
