Can you explain the co>operating system’s processing model?
Answer / Sangeeta Maurya
The cooperative operating system's processing model relies on voluntary cooperation between processes to manage and share resources. Unlike a preemptive OS, a cooperative OS does not forcibly interrupt running tasks; instead, each process yields control by itself when it is finished executing or decides to relinquish the CPU. This approach can lead to more efficient resource utilization but may also result in starvation if processes fail to relinquish control.
