Explain oracle apps architecture.
Answer / Nitish Kapoor
Oracle Apps architecture consists of the following layers: Presentation, Business, Integration, and Database. The Presentation layer includes UI tools like i-Folders and WebADI for building forms, reports, and workflows. The Business layer contains the core functional modules like Financials, Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Project Portfolio Management (PPM). The Integration layer includes Oracle Integration (SOA and OSB) for data integration between different systems. The Database layer stores all the application data.
