Explain functional dependency?
Answer / Suhail Ahmad
Functional Dependency (FD) is a concept in the relational database theory. It describes a relationship between two sets of attributes where one set determines the other. In other words, if every value of A determines a unique value of B in a relation R, we say A functionally depends on B and write it as A -> B. This means that any change in A will result in a change in B.
