Hi I have been asked several times the following questions. 1.How does one do incremnental loading 2.Scenario - You are trying to load reasonable amount of rows into the target table, and its taking a helluva lot of time.What could be the reasons? I hate to answer these tw0 , gives me nightmares to even think of it!!! 3.Tell me any complex situation you have faced( as an Informatica Developer) and how did you resolve it. 4.tell me any complex mapping that you have done. I am hvaing SOURCE as first line: 1000,null,null,null second line as:null,2000,null,null 3rd line as :null,null,3000,null and final line as: null,null,null,4000 ............................Now i want the OUTPUT as 1000,2000,3000,4000 For more clarification i want to elimate nulls and want in a single line. Please help me out

Hi, I want to change date type char value integer value? I tried alter table tab_name modify (newcolumn newdatetype). But The columns have 10 million values(char type) so I want to load now numeric data. How it is possible? Old Values New Value(I want to load numeric data but the old value should be there in the column) Y 1 N 0 ERROR at line 1: ORA-01439: column to be modified must be empty to change datatype Please help on this.
