What is back diode?
Answer / Mandeep Kumar
A back diode, also known as a Schottky diode or hot carrier diode, is a type of semiconductor device that provides a low-barrier barrier for the flow of current from the cathode (negative side) to the anode (positive side). It has a metal-semiconductor junction instead of a pn junction and exhibits faster switching times, lower forward voltage drop, and higher frequency response compared to regular diodes.
