What is phase cross over frequency?
Answer / Jiggyasa Sonker
The phase crossover frequency is a point on the Bode plot where the phase angle of a system changes from lagging (phase shift > 0 degrees) to leading (phase shift < 0 degrees). In other words, it's the frequency at which the magnitude of the phase shift equals -90 degrees.

Our Alternator nameplate specifies a power factor of 0.8. When the Alternator is on light load, the bus bar voltage rises to 11240 volts, whereas the standard value is 10500 volts. Is it ok to increase the power factor to 0.85 or 0.9. I am afraid because the power factor on the name plate is only 0.8 ?
