For conduction of heat, the instantaneous rate of heat flow is product of three factors. What are these ?
Answer / Priyanka Arora
The instantaneous rate of heat flow (Q) through a material by conduction is given by Fourier's law: Q = -kA * dT/dx where k is the thermal conductivity, A is the area through which heat flows, dT/dx is the temperature gradient, and the minus sign indicates that heat flows from higher temperatures to lower temperatures.
