IT IS perfectly right thier is no Extention for winrunner
programs,but .gui is for gui screens.
if at all it is wrong give me a proper reason.

Yes what Neelu said is correct. when u save the winrunner
script it saves as a folder not as a single file.it
consists of other folders too..
jst check out this by simply saving a script.

Winrunner dont have any extension
it stores in folders
but GUI map files have extension .gui

WinRunner has no files, every programme is stored as an
folder and so there is no extension for folders. The
extension for GUI map files are .gui

WR script file doesn't have any extesion.
When we save a script in WR , it will creat a folder and in
that folder all files(script file,log files,Gui files,DDT
Excel sheet,checkpoints) will be stored in the same folder.
