If it exceeds a predetermined value, it operates a trip mechanism to open the circuit breaker.n- ICS is an electromagnetic device used to ignite the arc-quenching media (usually SF6 gas) when the circuit breaker needs to be opened or closed.nnThe ICU and ICS pass through the breaker every time the circuit is opened or closed.
