How calculated single phase induction motor req. Capacitor?

How calculated single phase induction motor req. Capacitor?..

Answer / Kriyanshu Saraswat

The required capacitance for a single-phase induction motor can be calculated using the formula:nC = (kW * 1000) / (π * f * V^2 * cos(φ))nWhere:n- C is the required capacitance in microfarads (μF)n- kW is the motor's rated power in kilowattsn- f is the frequency of the electrical supply in hertz (Hz)n- V is the line-to-line voltage in volts (V)n- cos(φ) is the power factor, which can typically be found in the motor nameplate.
