What is the comparison of PILC and XLPE cable
Answer / Abhay Kumar Pandey
PILC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) are two types of insulated cables used in electrical wiring. The main differences between them lie in their properties, performance, and applications. PILC cables have a higher dielectric strength and better resistance to oil and moisture but are more expensive and less flexible than XLPE cables. XLPE cables, on the other hand, offer better electrical insulation properties, improved flexibility, and lower cost but have a lower dielectric strength compared to PILC cables.
