what is PLC? how can they work? Is there any possiblity to replace it?
Answer / kamal singh
PLC is a programmable logic controller ( Micro Processor )
Application : All kind of industrial automation applications
How Does It Work :
As its programmable, Hence program is written ( LD/ST/FBD/IL/SFP langauges ) in line with the FDS ( Functional Design Requirement ) and on the basis of IO signals ( DI/DO/AI/AO ).
In each scan cycle PLC scans the IO status & accordingly process the logic.
SCADA :
Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition , is a graphical representation PLC logic Or Process
Modern PLC Brand :
Schneider / Rockwell / Siemens
