how to calculate the phase diffrence beetween given two equetion  y= 15sin(wt+pi/3) and y=10sin(wt-pi/4)

how to calculate the phase diffrence beetween given two equetion  y= 15sin(wt+pi/3) and y=10sin..

Answer / brandon

First of all, the phase has no association with the amplitude of the signal, just in case. Now, to calculate de difference, you simply sustract both phases, in this case:

phase 1 = +pi/3
phase 2 = -pi/4

So, the phase difference would be:

pi/3 - (-pi/4) = (4pi+3pi)/12 = 7pi/12

which is 105° in the degrees scale.
