power factor= cos( R/Z)
Active power= V*I*cos(R/Z)
Apparent Power= V*I
Reactive power= V*I*sin(R/Z)

The total power is the apparent power which is the vector sum of real and reactive power.as the name suggest power factor is a factor of which the total power is real or useful power.it is the cosine of angle between voltage and current.
