ac current is flow in alternating nature & it have frequency.
dc current is direct current and flow in straight direction & dc current has no frequency..

ac current has skin effect,corona losses and dc current does not having skin effect,corona in transmission lines
ac transmission can change voltage levels by using step-up transformers and in dc it is not possible

and in dc can not change voltage levels because we not using power transformers

ac current changes it's magnitudeand it has frequency but
dc cureent doesn't changes it's magnitude and it didn't
have frequency.
