It depends on the application where we use the same.
MCCB have adjustable tripping characteristics where MCB have fixed tripping characteristics.
MCCB is selected if it is incommer ,MCB is enough if it is O/g feeder

MCB is a gear where MCCB is a switchgear. MCCB may be said to be best if chose because, with an MCCB you get a current sensing relay for auto tripping during a fault.

in this case mcb is better because mcb is much cheaper than the mccb.

mcb is much enough becase load capacity is too low
so,insted of MCCB is better to using MCB becase low cast.

MCB is Simply a Mechanical Switch which makes or breakes the circuit by hand. In other words MCCB is a current sensing device which detects the abnormality in the circuit and trips the circuit. Today many of them are using MCCB only. And further As for as fault concern it is better to select MCCB

according to my experience, if load continuous current less or equal than 60A, it is better to use MCB, it is easy to install and cheaper. you can select MCB tripping class A,B or C depends on your application.

MCCB tripping Capacity is low when MCB. We know a machine starting current is high but its running current is normal if we used MCB it will trip instant with starting current but if we use MCCB it will take a little time for running machine.
