i.e 8 X 50 = 400 kg

as per IS code W/C = 0.45

400 X 0.45 = 180 lts of water needed

but water cement ratio must be taken from slump test

W/C=0.45 (IS 456-2000)

Now, Multiply the volume cement wth void ratio(30%).

W/Vc*1.3= 0.45

W= 0.585*Vc.
