Rotor emf is induced at slip frequency.
Rated slip ranges from 2% to 5% in normal induction motor's and can be as low as
0.5% in heavy induction motors to reduce the losses.
Hence rotor emf frequency will be s*Fs where
Fs= stator frequency.

Why dc supply is used for closing and tripping coil of ht breakers. What happen if we use only ups ac supply only.
