500 D is a high strength ribbed TMT reinforcement bar. For reference, the strength of the rebar is 500 MPa and 'D' represents the ductility of the rebar. By keeping the level of impurities like Sulphur and Phosphorous to below 0.075%, the consistency in strength across the rebar is maintained.
